Description
Samuel Beckett Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Dublin that joins Sir John Rogerson’s Quay on the south side of the River Liffey to Guild Street and North Wall Quay in the Docklands area. Named after the famous 20th century Irish novelist, playwright and poet Samuel Beckett who penned the play Waiting for Godot. In 1969, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
